This presentation will provide a full-day of intensive, high-level discussion geared to illuminate the development of knowledge retention and transfer strategies employed today as government agencies strive for a seamless transfer of knowledge and expertise.  The speaker will illustrate how some commercial and public sector agencies are making knowledge retention a part of everyday business processes and activities.   The Knowledge Retention Imperative, engaging the audience in content that not only underscores the importance of knowledge retention but illustrates how ―knowledge continuity can be achieved by cultivating expertise networks in your organization.

About our Speaker:

Terrie J. Rollins is a strategic business executive focusing on Enterprise Technology Transformation with an emphasis on knowledge management, organization change, and human capital for enterprise wide technology strategy, transformation and software solutions deployment.  Ms. Rollins is an industry recognized expert and thought leader in knowledge management and organizational change. She has successfully introduced Knowledge Management frameworks, technology and business processes in support of strategic and operational goals with strong experience in facilitating technology focused cultural change. 

Ms. Rollins is currently an Executive, Defense IT, Booz Allen Hamilton.  Her career highlights include; Chief Knowledge Officer, Unisys Corp. Federal Systems Division; and Chief Information Officer, Howrey Simon Arnold and White; the nation’s largest Intellectual Property and Antitrust law firm.

 

Ms. Rollins is the elected Industry Chair for the Federal Knowledge Management Working Group, Federal CIO Council a 700+ member professional association dedicated to successfully deploying Knowledge Management across the Federal landscape.  As Industry Chair, Terrie will work in conjunction with the Government Chair and Federal Knowledge Management leadership to help shape the nation’s policy on effective use of Knowledge Management to foster knowledge sharing, retention and collaboration across the federal landscape.

 

Education  Ms. Rollins is a Registered Organization Development Professional (RODP).  She received her Masters in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix, Graduate School of Business and her B.Sc. degree in Criminal Justice & Business Administration from Troy State University, Troy Alabama.
